In today’s news, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai lovingly presents the Shining World Hero Award to loving dogs from United States, European Union provides pandemic assistance to Horn of Africa, United Kingdom takes measures to boost EV adoption, green energy development increases in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, police officer risks his life to save family from fire, Finland invests in plant-based protein, and Australian study finds canine companions improve pre-schoolers’ interpersonal skills.

In Shining World Hero Award News from the Unites States …

On December 3, 2019, Ms. Maureen Hatcher was at home with her two precious Labrador Retriever dogs, Sadie and Bella, when she suddenly fell down and could not move. She told the dogs: “Mommy needs help.” The two Labs managed to leave the house through the front door, which Ms. Hatcher said was a miracle since the door had an automatic self-locking mechanism. After getting outside, the dogs ran toward the houses nearby, which alerted a neighbor to investigate and call for emergency aid. Ms. Hatcher was later diagnosed with a stroke that likely would have taken her life were it not for the swift action of her devoted animal companions. “This whole incident has led me to believe, and has shown me, just how smart these girls are – all dogs for that matter. And if it hadn’t been for them, I wouldn’t be alive today.” Supreme Master Ching Hai was touched by the heroic actions of the two Labrador Retrievers and “joyfully bestow the Shining World Hero Award to Sadie and Bella and US$4,000 for vegan treats, with big hugs and lots and lots of ‘Lab’ from my heart.”

Our Association members in Florida, USA were honored to present Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Award letter, crystalline plaque, as well as Master’s publications, DVDs, and Master’s gift of US$4,000 to Maureen Hatcher on behalf of Sadie and Bella. “It is with much admiration and gratitude that we present to you both the ‘Shining World Hero Award.’ This Award is presented in recognition of your extraordinarily acute senses, attentiveness, loyalty to humanity and caring spirit of friendship, providing us all with a shining example of God’s blessed gift to humankind, the animals. Your human companion is indeed blessed to be with special girls like you. Thank you, Sadie and Bella, for your special contribution to humanity, showing us the power and divine intelligence of animals.”

“I thank Her (Supreme Master Ching Hai) very much for this and I’m so thrilled that She chose to recognize them because they are my heroes. And they do deserve the recognition. Thank you so much. I swear I think she understood every word you said. She kept looking up at me and smiling. Look at her! I honestly think she understood you. Thank you so much.” “How about that? Is this yours? (Woof!) It is? OK! (Oh yes!) You like this? (Woof!) Say thank you! (Woof woof!) There you go. (You’re welcome!)”

Our heartfelt accolades, Sadie and Bella, and many thanks for your loving intelligence in action. May you and your family be blessed with health and happiness, in God’s embrace. For the full presentation of the Shining World Hero Award to Sadie and Bella Hatcher, please tune in to our Shining World Award program at a later date.

European Union to support regional response to COVID-19 in the Horn of Africa.

The European Union, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate, has pledged €60 million to support the Intergovernmental Authority on Development, an eight-country trade bloc in Africa, in its mandate to coordinate state responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. The multinational initiative will primarily assist migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons and cross-border communities; providing them with vital sanitation supplies and access to health and socio-economic support. Funding will also be allocated to medical gear, including more than 8.5 million items of personal protective equipment, and additional test kits and ambulances. Furthermore, over 1.6 million people will be reached through awareness campaigns to help mitigate the spread of the virus, and the safety of trade across borders and supply chains will be ensured. Our heartfelt gratitude, European Union! May the resilient people of the Horn of Africa always be safe and protected in Heaven’s sheltering embrace.

Up next, United Kingdom takes measures to boost electric vehicle adoption. We now pause to thank the expert actuaries, who analyze many numbers to determine the likelihood of future events. When we return, more rejuvenating news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television!

Hey amazing viewers, it’s Megan the vegan Meerkat Cub. Do you know why people are crazy about me? Because I’m vegan!! Today, I would like to share some safe practices to employ when you pump gas at petrol stations. Reduce the risk of contamination by sanitizing your hands and wearing gloves before getting out of your car, as numerous hands have been in contact with the gas pump before you. Consider using homemade gloves made with plastic bags, as Supreme Master Ching Hai has lovingly shown us before. After you have finished filling up, carefully remove your gloves away from your body and pull them inside out, then discard them in the trash bin. Make sure you disinfect your hands again and your clothes before re-entering your car. This precaution will help prevent contaminants from being transferred to anything you touch, such as your door handles, wallet, and phone. Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

United Kingdom encourages a green economic recovery.

The UK, a Shining World Wise Leadership Award laureate and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Animal Protection and Kindness laureate, stated that starting this fall, drivers of zero-emission vehicles will have special green license plates, allowing them to enjoy on-the-road privileges such as lower parking rates and free entry to zero-emission zones. To achieve its 2050 net-zero carbon goal, the government will use the plates to encourage more buyers to purchase electric vehicles. Additionally, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles has announced a £12 million investment to develop clean energy vehicles including research for improved electric and hydrogen automobiles and charging networks. The fund, to be delivered through Innovate UK, is expected to help create over 6,000 jobs and allow the UK to make a strong economic comeback after COVID-19. Thumbs up for a smart recovery collaboration, United Kingdom, Office for Low Emission Vehicles, and Innovate UK. The world looks forward to seeing clean economic growth in the near future!

Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, to expand renewable energy developments.

Âu Lạc (Vietnam), a Shining World Leadership Award for Caring laureate, has approved the development of 91 wind energy plants to prepare for an expected increase in power demand. They will be built both on-and offshore throughout central and southern regions of the country, and will deliver seven gigawatts of emission-free power to the electric grid upon completion. The government has set a goal to harvest 20% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. Wind projects are emphasized as Âu Lạc (Vietnam) has reliable wind resources to support growth in the sector. The country has already installed 490 megawatts capacity of wind power stations as of 2019. Wise energy investment, Âu Lạc (Vietnam)! We are so grateful for the abundance of natural resources moving our world forward in Heaven’s light.

Heroic police officer rescues family from burning home in the United States.

Officer Joshua Gonzalez from Socorro, Texas, recently rescued a family from a burning home by entering the building at the location of the blaze, since no safer option was available. An 8-year-old boy was saved along with two adults. Neighbors in the area also assisted the situation by helping to extinguish flames with hoses of water. Officer Gonzalez stated, “I believed at one point, I was probably not going to make it, but I made myself and assured myself that I could do this and there were people to save.” Honorable and brave Officer Joshua Gonzalez, your selfless actions are an inspiration for all to emulate. God bless you. May the family you saved recover quickly and enjoy every precious day in the love of the Providence. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gladly present the Shining World Hero Award to Officer Joshua Gonzalez, with respectful salute, high praises and gratitude for your selfless and courageous work. May God forever bless and shield you.”

Coming up, Finland invests in plant-based protein. We’re going to spend a moment to think about the little things we can do to serve others in our communities. Be back soon! You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – High-thinking News for a More Civilized World.

Finland supports the development of plant protein products.

Business Finland, a government entity responsible for innovation funding, is investing €2.1 million in the development of plant protein products in Finland for the global market. VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, a government-owned nonprofit, is in charge of the EXPRO project and is working with the University of Helsinki and other partners. The goal is to build an entire plant-based ecosystem from raw materials to product development, including consumer and market research. EXPRO envisions enhancing the value of Finnish crops such as oats, fava beans and rapeseed by using them in the development of innovative food products through wet extrusion and bioprocessing technologies. We applaud your forward-thinking and responsible decision to develop more plant-based protein food, Finland. May you meet with great success in this compassionate and sustainable endeavor, in Divine blessings.

Australian study finds canine companions improve pre-schoolers’ interpersonal skills.

A team of researchers from The University of Western Australia and Telethon Kids Institute, an Australian pediatric research center, found that preschoolers from families with dog companions had enhanced emotional and social wellbeing compared to children from households without a canine family member. Analyzing questionnaire data collected from 1,646 households with children aged two to five years, researchers discovered that youngsters with a dog family member were 34% more likely to demonstrate thoughtful behaviors, such as sharing. They were also 30% less likely to exhibit antisocial conduct. Dr. Hayley Christian, one of the authors of the study, which was published in the peer reviewed medical journal Pediatric Research, said, “…we were surprised that the mere presence of a family dog was associated with many positive behaviors and emotions.” Thank you, researchers, for this very interesting and informative study. May our loving canine friends always be respected and cherished as they continue to shower us with their many gifts of love.

Let the worries of the world melt away. Join us for the joke of the day entitled “Remarkable Marriage.”

On Christine’s parents’ 50th anniversary, she remarked to her father that he and Mom never seemed to fight.

“We battled, but it never amounted to much. After a while, one of us always realized that I was wrong.”

And now we have a heartline from Lia in Indonesia:

Dear Master, I ask that You stay in this world and beg You not to leave us. Thank You. Lia from Indonesia Reflective Lia, Supreme Master Ching Hai has a message for you: “Loving Lia, I love you and all your brothers and sisters dearly, and we remain together always. This will never change. Whatever the circumstances, you are with me, know this in your heart, precious one. May God’s benevolent mercy be with you and the giving Indonesian people.”
